Some people here on steemit have quite a mouth on them, I guess its hard to keep cool when the STEEM price is sinking, but c'mon trolling guys/girls trolling and being rude is not going to make new plankton use this platform or revive dead-fish, the reason many came here was to get away from trolling and "abuse of power" and "yada yada" thats so "old-socialmedia"... And now Im going to call my lawyer! =)

I know a tiny bit about making shine. For me the making is far more interesting than the drinking part. It is legal to make here in small amounts.
The knowledge and history around it is pretty interesting.
As far a liquor store runs go. I probably have rum. it is easier to just keep a cabinet stocked than run out when a gust may want a drink. That said my bottles often sit unopened good thing there is long shelf life.
I am more likely to use clear high proof to soak the goodness out of some herbs lol
