George Harrison is definitely

one of the major guitar gods in Rock History As we all know, we was a member of The Beatles which cemented him as an incredible player, technically extremely proficient and super-creative in his songwriting and style. Personally, I was never as much of a fan of Harrison's solo stuff compared with McCartney or Lennon, but over the last few weeks, I have been going back and listening to his albums, and there is a lot of really cool, interesting stuff throughout them.

This song appeared on his 1970

album All Things Must Pass, which takes it's name from a song on the album. Interestingly, this song was written and recorded as a demo during his time in The Beatles, but was put on the backburner until he began his solo career. This track is really cool, I love the instrumentation, particularly the horns. The guitar also does some interesting stuff, playing a descending line of Em7, Em6, to Em/C, so while the lower part of the chord constantly feels like an Emin, in the upper range we have a little chromatic line of D, C#, to C natural.
