Here is my interpretation of the song "Wave" by Jobim and it is such a beautiful melody and chord progression. Wave is the fifth studio album by Brazilian jazz musician Antônio Carlos Jobim, released in 1967 on A&M Records, and it has been covered by millions of guitar players all over the world.
The influence of Antônio Carlos Jobim stretches the globe, and he will go down in history as one of Brazil's greatest composers. I tried different techniques on this song like the rest stroke for the melody and using my thumb for the solo to get a slightly lighter touch. I make a few mistakes, but it can be a challenging song on the acoustic nylon with no fret markers, so I sometimes get tripped up on a change to two.
