🎸 ‘Sultans of Swing’ in 12 different styles by famous guitarists

His name is Andre Antunes and his video had a viral sensation two years ago, when he tried to copy the styles of 10 famous guitarists while he played solo from Daft Punk’s ‘Get Lucky’ song. He continued to create interesting and specific videos. He also made an amazing solo video where he played songs from Michael Jackson in his style – actually in styles of 20 famous guitarists.

Now he’s back again, on his official YouTube channel, he shared a video where he played ‘Sultans of Swing’ .

The video follows styles of 12 famous guitarists including: Slash, Brian May, Randy Rhoads, Eddie Van Halen and eight others. But the interesting thing is that Andre goes a step further by incorporating solos from those players into the performance, including songs like “Sweet Child O’ Mine” (Slash), “Don’t Stop Me Now” (May), “Crazy Train” (Rhoads) and “Eruption” (Van Halen), “The Trooper”, “Hotel California” and “Free Bird”.

Perfect way to end my day. This was loads of fun. Now I'll be singing "Sultans" as I drift off to sleep. Great post :)

This was surprisingly cool :)

I was particularly pleased to hear the Matt Bellamy lick mixed in haha.

I've written a post on the late, great Chuck Berry's music. It might be of interest to you. :)
