My Top Songs for 2018 : Part1

Spotify was kind enough to make a list of the songs that I heard most during this year and I am sharing them with you in three parts, five songs each time.

Let's what were the songs that I played most according to Spotify, which is, by the way, the only source of music that I have nowadays.

Number 15 : Skulls in the Stars - Necronomidol

This is a Japan group that is quite difficult to describe their music ? It is rock or is it electro ? I don't care what it is, it's a great song and indeed I listened to it many times.

Number 14 : We Do Not Resist - Orphaned Land

Orphaned Land's "Unsung Prophets & Dead Messiahs" is probably my favorite album of 2018, since there is one more song later on this list. Aggressive, melodic, with oriental influences with this song they go back to their Death Metal roots. Great song, I recommend this album to all metal fans.

Number 13 : Antioch - Judicator

Another 2018 that I listened a lot is Judicator's "The Last Emperor" and maybe Iced Earth should listen to it,too, to remember how it is done.

Number 12 : Nothing Can Break Me - Nocturnal Rites

Nocturnal Rites made an awesome comeback this last year's "Phoenix" album and as you can see I still listen to their songs and this one especcialy. Melodic power metal at its finest, hope in 2019 will hear a new release.

Number 11 : Dance Macabre - Carpenter Brut Remix

Not a big Ghost fun, but I love this song and I love this remix even more. I could go as far as to say that this version is better than the original. The dance element takes it to a whole another level.

That was the first part of this musical 2018 rewind. Most of songs are new, because I want to listen to new music and I want to discover new bands.
