During their 37 years long history, Slovenian band Laibach never experienced such sobering reaction from audience on their premiere in DPRK.
As you can see, most of the people at their gig in Pyong Yang reacted badly to their new song "Whistleblower", because they still prefer earlier sound and style of Laibach.
Kim On Hulk, 28yr old conspiracy theorist from Pyong Yang explained it from fan point of view:
- We do like Snowden, Assange and those people, but this song is just soft, silly and not Laibach at all. I believe they will listen to their fans and do it better for the next album, this is not the way to go - said On Hulk.
Still, Slovenian high druid and marine geographer Slavoj Zizek, believes this was “the most fascinating cultural, ideological and political event of the 21st century.”
There is also unofficial statement from band itself about Laibach tour 2018, which will take them through Vatican, Pentagon, russian nuclear submarine and their busy year should end with concert in the back of ISIS toyota somewhere deep in Saudi desert.

edit: We just got demanti from mr Zizek, stating that he is not marine geographer, as its stated in our article, but continental philosopher.
ouch..
our bad!
To be honest, their reaction was better than mine when I first herd Laibach as kid :D

Well, I like Laibach's music, but performing a concert in North Korea is truly disgusting.
Sadly, Otto Warmbier will never be able to attend this event.

just did& thanks. interesting story. but i cant see any evidences about what caused his condition. parents says he is tortured, coroner says he died from brain insult which happened year ago and no traces of torture at all. i find it quite weird. i know there is politics&media all over it, but there is huge possibility that we dont have clue what really happened there.
also, i would like to know if his trial and sentence were based on actual law in korea? or exception?
it would take some time to go through it
