Instead of telling kids to have sex with women, do drugs, and even kill people... I have chosen to rap about not doing those things and rather preaching to respect women, resist temptation, and to be kind to each other. In a philosophical sense music can be very powerful in our lives. We do not realize that the morals we listen to combined with rhythm and what is pleasing on the ear (such as music) this then creates a greater effect then the written word...This is because it combines with the physical realm (the sense of hearing) with the realm of logic (basically the idea of reason and rhyme).
