After listening to this second part of 'The Story of Light' they just released I'm totally sure the guys approach is one towards modern, summer, and minimalistic pop -- similar to what they did in 'Odd.'

The title track, "I Want You", is your summer, electronic track. Their voices don't shine that much, and the music doesn't either, but it is quite catchy to be enjoyable enough and probably their singing the title of the song will stick to you.

"Chemistry" is far more enjoyable and I would have loved it as the title track. Even though it is of the same genre of the previous song, I feel as if there was more effort put into this one. The arrangements are more fulfilling. The snare percussion is hypnotizing. Their voices deliver way more -- they're more passionate in their singing and there amore details here and there, like a nice production towards the end where the rapping is almost unlistenable but starts increasing in volume and in tension. A great song, indeed.

"Electric" is very heavy in effects in some parts and the percussion again adds a lot to the overall sound, but also the strings. There are many little effects played all over the song that make you listen to it over and over again until you have caught every detail. Vocally, Taemin and Onew are the stars in here. Their singing is so catchy and seductive.

"Drive" is very similar in structure and minimalism to "I Want You" but the bridge makes it up a little. There is not much to say about it except that it sounds like a filler to me. On the other hand, "Who Waits for Love" is a very intense and dramatic tune where, again, Taemin and Onew shine very brightly. The rap line is in the dense tone of the song, which makes it all the rounder.

Overall, I like this part over the first one. But maybe it is because I prefer the bombastic Shinee. The ones that seem like they come from Broadway, and in general, I'm not a fan of the sounds they chose for the album (not for them, not for anybody), but it's a matter of taste. Nevertheless, the production is neat and the passion of the members in too evident to miss, so, don't miss the latest record by Shinee!
