Ok, so it's finally time for me to get serious about my engagement here. I've been putting it off for too long. Now that I'm on a cruise ship for six weeks, I don't have any more excuses. I have more than enough time on my hands to do this. Anyway, an introduction is in order: I'm a musician. I've spent my entire working life as a bass player. I have a background in computer science and have on a few occasions taken side gigs as a software engineer. Still, in a backwards kind of way, music has always been my main job and coding my hobby.
