Let's see who has got what it takes to be the top songwriter on the Blockchain. Enter your original music and be recognized for your originality and talent and win $500 USD for 1st place, $300 USD for 2nd, and $200 for 3rd
Here are the rules:
Deadline for submissions is 11pm on July 30, 2017 and you must have a steemit account to enter. At least 20 submissions are required to make it official. So, make sure you get your other songwriter friends involved! We should be able to accomplish this with no problem.
- Create a Youtube video with your original song and put "@jamisonic Steemit Summer Songwriting Contest 2017" with your title and artist name in the title of your video.
You must submit a raw solo acoustic performance (recording with amplification and mic is ok). If you use a keyboard, put it on PIANO MODE ONLY. NO LOOPING!! This isn't a producer's contest. It is a songwriters contest. Lyrics and melody are key here.
Then, post a link to your video on THIS thread below (Yes, here)

At the beginning of the video, you must say "Jamisonic Steemit Summer Songwriting Contest 2017" then the title of your song, and your artist name for proper submission. Like this: "Jamisonic Steemit Summer Songwriting Contest 2017, this is a song called "Crypto" by "Jill Power" or whatever your title and name is.
Upvotes on your video will determine a large portion, so make sure you share it with your network and encourage them to vote.
