Hey guys, I'm Jonas and I play in a band in Canada called The Wilderness. This is one of our original songs.
In early november 2016, I drove from Kingston, Ontario down to Atlanta, GA. My parents lived in Virginia for 3 years and as it closed in on the early hours of the morning, instead of going to where my family once lived, I slept in a Walmart parking lot instead.
The song was written in part Rick Beato's studio in Stone Mountain, GA and at the bar at Smiths Old Bar in Midtown Atlanta.
