Hola, hoy me gustaría hablaros de una canción que no es realmente nueva pero ha sido lanzada al público hace poco y es la canción "Set Me Free" de Avenged Sevenfold.

SET ME FREE

"Set Me Free" se grabó originalmente para el álbum Hail to the King de Avenged Sevenfold en 2013. Es una de las canciones más lentas en su catálogo, alejándose del tono más agresivo del disco, con la excepción de "Acid Rain" (a la que, a mi parecer, se parece bastante). Sin embargo, no lo incluyeron en el álbum y la canción finalmente se lanzó en 2020 como un single independiente.

Avenged Sevenfold tiene varias baladas en su discografía y esta es una más. A causa de tener tantas, se ha convertido en lo que mejor hacen. Esta balada es exquisita pero a mi gusto se me hace un poco repetitiva con tanto "set me free" en la letra.Yo no diría que esta es una de las mejores canciones de Avenged Sevenfold pero si que se disfruta, aunque teniendo en cuenta que tenemos varias opciones como City Of Evil por ejemplo, yo no gastaría mi tiempo escuchando esto. Mil veces mejor es Seize The Day.
