I wasn't quite sure if I should make a post about this event or not, there are already too many videos on YouTube anyone can watch, but then I decided to make an entry. I'm relatively new to blogging, it can be hard for me to want to write something down at times, I hope I can get better at it!

So last Friday me and my husband @matt-a went to see Sigur Rós once again. Even though I have't been to many concerts, I've never seen a more magical performance, I felt like I entered a different dimension and it was awesome haha. I'm sure there is no human in the world that isn't impressed by the beautiful music of Sigur Rós, either in a good or a bad way. Iceland seems to give birth to a lot of talented musicians considering how small the population is, it's pretty amazing.

Back to the show. Turned out they brought the same setlist they played back in October last year, that's the reason why I didn't feel too bad making a few videos, which I usually don't do at theaters. Well, luckily nobody got pissed, it's all that matters!

Watch in HD!

Sigur Rós - Sæglópur

I apologize for the video quality. I recorded these videos on my phone, there was no way for us to bring a camera in, sadly.
Kveikur is one of my new favorites, even though the song isn't that new, I like to listen to it live.

Sigur Rós - Kveikur

Here is the final song of the evening, the visuals get pretty crazy toward the end, check them out! Also my storage card got completely full, at least it didn't stop in the middle of recording and I got to capture the entire thing.

Sigur Rós - Untitled 8 (Popplagið)

Takk means thanks in Icelandic, in case some of you were wondering. If I were given the chance to go see that very same show for the 3d time, I would say YES.

Oh cool. They use guitar bowing. I haven't seen too much of that since Jimmy Page did in the '70's! Of course there will never be another Page ;)

Whoa, I had no idea that was already "invented", cool!

Epic!

Brilliantly original band. It must have a been quite an experience.

I fully agree! To be honest I liked their show in October (it was the same one) better, mainly because of the venue it was a prettier theater, I still loved every second of it.

i love how the steem community is aware of occult stuff. cheers. followed!
