Aim: Create Music From What People Consider As Garbage
Walking down my dorm's stairway, I looked down to the sight of these:
(People here drink a lot)
I had an ample amount of time at hand to have them 'disposed creatively'.
I remembered music could be made out of bottles.
So here's how it went:
Cleaned 'em up first.
Added water to 8 bottles (8 for an octave; "do-re-mi-fa-so-la-ti-do" in layman's terms).
Adjusted the water level with a chromatic tuner app to set the individual pitches.
I worked on the key of B for it was the most convenient key relevant to the bottles' water capacity.
Hence, the eight notes had to be: B, C#, D#, E, F#, G#, A#, B.
Right after tuning; Marked the bottles' bottoms with numbers corresponding to their notes.
Got 'em hanged in a bar.
Arranged in ascending pitch.
Ohh, and for 'the thing' that strikes them to produce sound.
These were made out of sticks and 5 PH cents.
Here's the sound test to it.

The Science Out Of It
The less water in the bottle, the faster the glass vibrates and the higher the pitch. The more water you add to the bottle, the slower the glass vibrates, creating a lower pitch.
