Attending a live concert can decrease your heart rate, blood pressure and respiratory rate, says Dr Nirav N. Mehta, a cardiologist in Philadelphia.Listening to live music at a concert can increase your pain threshold, says Dr. Steven Eisenberg, an oncologist based near San Diego. He also says its good for your mental outlook and your longevity. He also says if you only move half the time you are at a concert, you are getting well needed exercise and your diaphragm is getting a workout.

Thomas M Beaudoin, a professor at Fordham University says listening to live music is like therapy, allowing you to address emotions in a positive way.

Researchers at Deakin University in Australia (2016) have found engaging with the music in a concert has resulted in a better sense of well-being.
