I was so lucky my friend Deirdre got me a ticket for this so so special night in honour of Shane McGowan.
Lisa O'Neill and Glen Hansard sing 'Fairytale from New York' with John Sheahen from The Dubliners.
22 years ago, we chose to live in a rural village in Cavan, called Ballyhaise, with a population of less than 500 at the time. Lisa O'Neill is from that tiny village. So are the Strypes. Small place, huge talent.
