Echoing in stillness, Liotia are an electroacoustic duo that create an enchanting and truly unique ensemble of original sounds, samples, licks and melodies. Fusing electronica, triphop and jazz influences, Liotia combine the guitar and voice of Abigail Hubbard with the digital soundscapes and drum machine of Matthew Smyth.
Dancing over the top of this intrinsic medley, we are greeted and taken on an emotional journey of touching lyrics and haunting vocals. The poetic verse with soulful undertones can only be compared to the lyrical prowess of a blue whale, if only they could speak.
