Musical Introduction [Anderson .Paak] - for your listening enjoyment

This guy... Amazing!

One night my friend said, "hey there's this rapper you should check out, he's got the same name as you! He goes by the name Breezy Lovejoy" I was like, "Whaaaat?" Of course there's a Lovejoy hip-hop head. Dope! Turns out his given name is Brandon Paak Anderson, and his previous pseudonym was Breezy Lovejoy, so we share some strange name karma.

So I checked out his first two albums on Tidal.. and a few songs from his sophomore album, 'Malibu', really jumped up and grabbed me. 'The Bird', and 'Am I Wrong', were the first two to really get me hooked. His first album 'Venice' is a little more raw, and there seems to have been a quantum leap in production and general vibe from one to the next.

I'm not trying to write an exhaustive musical review, I'm just making an introduction! I'll leave it to you to explore.

I dare say he will be a significant force in music for years to come.

And I'll just add, I've NEVER seen an artist quite so capable of playing drums and singing at the same time! Quite a rare gift! Mind blowing really.
