“Skyfall,” by Caroline Campbell … (Violin – Music to Your Ears–10)

A magnificent performance that gets our feet tapping and our adrenaline pumping.

Caroline Campbell – “Skyfall”

“Skyfall” (2013 / 2014)

This is an excellent version of the theme song from the James Bond film “Skyfall” – composed by Adele.

With William Joseph on piano and backed by various other musicians, Caroline Campbell transforms the violin far beyond the bounds of a typical classical or baroque instrument.

And we listeners are treated to a magnificent performance that gets our feet tapping and our adrenaline pumping.   (Image source)

Caroline Campbell

Born in the USA, Campbell began playing violin at age 3. Her repertoire extends far beyond classical to include jazz and popular music.

She has performed as a soloist with numerous orchestras around the world. She also performs internationally with the jazz trumpeter Chris Botti, and is the first violinist for Sonus Quartet, an LA-based string quartet that plays an eclectic range of music of different periods.   (Image source)
