She created a superb version that does justice to the original Marley version – and then some.

“Three Little Birds” (2011 – original from 1977)
This cover of the popular Bob Marley song was performed as part of a Bob Marley tribute at BBC Radio 1Xtra in 2011. At that time, Dionne Bromfield was only 15 years old. Nevertheless, she sang with the voice of a seasoned professional.
Pure Rhythm
Her rich, soulful vocals may not have expressed the purest reggae, but we can leave the rhythms and beats to the musicians.
Backed by the tight band and supported by the heartfelt backing vocals, Dionne created a superb version that does justice to the original Marley version – and then some.

Singin': "Don't worry about a thing
'Cause every little thing gonna be all right!" Rise up this mornin'
Smile with the risin' sun
Three little birds
Pitch by my doorstep
Singin' sweet songs
Of melodies pure and true
Sayin', "This is my message to you-ou-ou." Singin': "Don't worry 'bout a thing
'Cause every little thing gonna be all right"

'Cause every little thing gonna be all right!" Rise up this mornin'
Smiled with the risin' sun
Three little birds
Pitch by my doorstep
Singin' sweet songs
Of melodies pure and true
Sayin', "This is my message to you-ou-ou." Singin': "Don't worry about a thing, worry about a thing, oh!
Every little thing gonna be all right. Don't worry!"

Bob Marley is a legend, no doubt. I love his Three Little Birds and, of course, this cover version.
