The Alpha Sequence "Hologram" Album Launch

Cape Town Progressive Deathcore band, The Alpha Sequence released thier debut album on Friday, 25th August 2017.

I actually went to college with the vocalist, Duan, and now I work with his band.

The Alpha Sequence have been working together as a band for maybe about 4 years before they started performing live and now they're one of CT's tightest bands and give an epic stage presence.

I was actually there to take photos at their very first show in 2015. They've released quite a few songs but tonight I finally get to play my favorite one of their's, Flesh Plagues Crucifixion, whenever I want.

I'm also really good friends with their bassist, Thariq. We're both bassists, so we talk about bass stuff all the time.

I wasn't entirely sure if I could've gone to their show, but then at 8 o'clock at nightI was given "the call"

They asked if I could come through at take some videos from the night. I've been posting a lot of videos lately and said I did a good job and would like me to do it again.

It being last minute, I obviously couldn't prepare like I would but I worked with what I had and they were just thankful that I actually came out.

In return, I got a free album, free tshirt, free entry & a plus 1 which was really cool and super overwhelming I never expect free stuff so actually felt bad... I ended up buying a hoodie to even it out.

The weird thing was, they actually dedicated a song to me the song "Flesh Plagues Crucifixion" that I mentioned in a previous post. But they pointed me out while I was working was so embarrassing

And even called me on stage to give me my album. WAAAAY too much attention for me for one year

The only downside of the night is, I'm really sick. It was a really fun night, so I'm spending my day getting better have another show next week to prepare for
