BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY MOVIE REVIEW

I know, i'm running late since the movie has been released few months ago but I need to deeply listen Queen better to make a judgment. Brian Singer is definitely not the last dude arrived at Hollywood so my HYPE for this film was really high. I'll try to not strictly consider the accuracy of the movie since i'm not an expert about life of Freddy Mercury but i'll try to write down my notes like someone who just arrived on this planet and know anything about Queen and Freddy.

The movie begin with a quick intro about Freddie in 70's during his time as Heatrow Employee and about his relationship with his dad, an old regular Indian-Farsi man who does not appreciate the rebel and liberals manners of his son. Due to some lucky events, Freddie become the performer and frontman of a little local band where he firstly met Brian May and the other guys of the band. In my opinion, the movie follow an initial crescendo since it starts with a very quick scenese and time jumps for ending up in stabilizing itself closing to the end. In the middle, is where magic happens. The story with EMI, the private life of Freddie is completely faced, his explosive personality wich came out often during the movie especially in the beginning with Mary (his first and ethernal love) and with the other members of the band. We are a family he will state often referring to Queen.

About Rami Malek, he follows a crescendo as well ! Even if in Mr. Robot he made evidence to be a very interesting actor, with this movie he definiteively jumped up the first ten steps of the hollywood's stars and i think he will get higher soon.

Singer did a very good job, costumes are 1:1 representation of the original ones, the casting too was amazing, Brian May looks less Brian May than the actor who interprets him !

Furthermore, in my opinion the movie is pretty neutral and unbiased, since he shows both the bright and the dark side of Freddy, his flawless, his holes and his mistakes that he made trough his entire life and might be for sure a cinematographic omage to one of the biggest band ever lived this planet.

I have no yet convinced you? Just have a look at the earnings of the movie ! The movie got 608,7 mln $, a pretty nice amount of money huh?

So i absolutely recommend this movie either you are a queen fan or you are not, actually, may the vision of this movie since can boost yourself in start listening an carry with you in your mobile some of their tracks.
