Georgia on my mind

I adoooooore Ray Charles. I’ve loved him for years and this song too. This song has a different meaning for me now because one of my good friends Mayra, from high school, moved to Georgia after we graduated. Everytime we speak, it’s like no time has gone by. It’s crazy looking back at high school and how different everything was. Everything always changes all the time. It constantly changes. The constant in life, is that there is none. There is stability within the instability. So sometimes, when I’m feelin that instability I just sit and listen to this song.. and sometimes I’ll even sing along.
