A Musician's First Post

I find myself on yet another new social media site, trying to catch the next wave to promote my music and clamber ahead of the industry.It's been a bit of an odd journey just getting here. Bitcoin led me to alt-coins, alt-coins led me to Musicoin, and Musicoin led me to Steemit. The concept is exciting, and much needed, with content creators being crushed by behemoths like Google and Spotify using the might of their lobbying dollars to squash any kind of fair payment for the creative class. I'm very curious to see where Steemit goes. Will it revolutionize content creation and compensation? Or is it destined to the same fate as Google Plus, never quite getting off the ground under the weight of all creators, and no average Joes. Here's hoping for the best! Now if you'll excuse me, I have to figure out how the hell this whole thing works.
