Testing the Fender Deluxe Nashville Telecaster

in music •  7 years ago

The Fender Deluxe Nashville Telecaster is a workhorse of a guitar (my favorite word these days). :-) As a gigging musician, I get called to play jazz, blues, funk, gospel, classic rock and more. I love that these guitars allow me to do just that. I made very few changes to it.
I reversed the switch plate so that the volume is first. Copper shielded the whole inside cavity along with the back of the pickguard. My Tele's seem to get extremely static charged, and you can hear all the crackling through the amp. Also added a treble bleed, so when I'm playing live and roll back my volume, there is no loss of chime and sparkle. Kept the stock pickups (Fender Noiseless Tele with a strat pickup in the middle position).

Here is the guitar in action. Just pieces of a #facebook Live performance. The camera is reversed, I'm not playing lefty :-) Thanks everyone!

Do you have any favorite pedals?

Right now I love the Paul Chocrane Timmy- it sounds really good with my Tele's. I will be purchasing a Creme Brule by Tone Bakery soon.

Very inspiring video for someone who is learning music and to play guitar :')

Thanks!!! I will have tutorials up soon!! 😊
