Latin America is recognized as a multicultural geographic area: with many rhythms, colors, flavors, and a happy spirit that ChocQuibTown has managed to capture through its music, especially in this album.
I challenge you to listen to this band without wanting to dance; I know that you will not be able to contain yourself when one of the 16 songs that make up "Oro", their fourth album published in 2009.
ChocQuibtown is one of the greatest exponents of Colombian music, and is one of my favorite Caribbean bands. His style is the product of the fusion of genres that I love, such as Hip Hop, Reggae, Electronic and pacific folk rhythms.
Something that I admire a lot about this band is that Goyo, Tostao and Slow Mike formed it in the year 2000 and still maintain their roots. Precisely the name of the group honors the Chocó, the department, and Quibdó, the capital, to which they belong.
I connected with "Oro" both for its tropical essence and for its nutritious positive lyrics, which speak of life, society and love; At least I feel that they have transmitted a lot to me, and I hope that you also identify with some song.

📌 Rules
- You need to pick your 7 all time favourite albums. Post one every day for seven days in a row.
- One song (at least) from each album has to be in your playlist currently. Oh yeah, you also have to share this song with us through YouTube.
- The Cover of the Album has to be the main theme of your post each day.
- No need to explain why the specific album is a favourite of yours, but if you feel like it, please do!
- Use #albumchallenge as a tag.
- Last but not least, nominate a different steemian each day.
I thank @matkodurko for nominating me; For days we asked ourselves why we have the habit of sharing everything we hear with other people, and we conclude that the good things in life are enjoyed more when they are shared.
Now I nominate @arrozymangophoto, because he is a musician who knows a lot about traditions and culture.
This is the last album of my challenge, you can see the other recommendations here:
#1 "American Teen" by Khalid
#2 "Diversité" by Dub Incorporation
#3 "El día es hoy" by Viniloversus
#4 "Blue Eyed Black Boy" by Balkan Beat Box
#5 "The Score" by The Fugees
#6 "Women of Jazz" by Putumayo World Music
