I guess Kelly's back as she just released this and another one on youtube a couple days ago. The other one sounds a lot like Adele and this one also sounds like her but Pink as well. I like both their voices so I like this one better out of the 2 new songs I heard.
It's hard to believe it's been 15 years since she won "American Idol." She's the most successful person internationally to come out of the show. Yes, there's arguably someone more successful in the US than Kelly. Her amazing voice and ability to cross over music is paying off. She has so many #1s, Top Tens and awards with different charts as a result. VH1 made a 100 Greatest Women in music and they put her at 19. We'll see how she does with her 8th album which apparently is soulful.
Interesting tidbit, she has a ranch that serves as a sanctuary in Texas for unwanted animals. There the animals receive care and hopefully homes.
