1983 Summer Songs are Special

Why special? Well as i almost love them all, my youth! So the following songs reflect the time I grew up, the glorious 80ies. Check the songs and tell me what you do not like. And we can discuss :-).

Here are the Top 10 from 1983 - below are some videos of the songs in that chart ranking! Flashdance seems to dominate! This year my taste reflects the No. 1 too - The Police (Sting!)!

  1. "Every Breath You Take" – The Police
  2. "Flashdance…What A Feeling" – Irene Cara
  3. "Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This)" – Eurythmics
  4. "Maniac” – Michael Sembello
  5. "Electric Avenue" – Eddy Grant
  6. "She Works Hard For The Money” – Donna Summer
  7. "Never Gonna Let You Go" – Sergio Mendes
  8. "Is There Something I Should Know" – Duran Duran
  9. "Stand Back" – Stevie Nicks
  10. "Wanna Be Startin’ Somethin’" – Michael Jackson

Keep on singing, playing, steemhearing and dancing. Do not forget to check my latest ongoing series #musicworld where we introduce countries and their music styles (edition 2 has been posted yesterday - KOREA!):
