Jazz music
Jazz (or jazz in English) is a style of music created by black Americans in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.

This style of music has had influences from ragtime (music sentences with syncopated rhythms), blues style, and band musicians at New Orleans funerals.
The emergence of the jazz style in the American multicultural society caused intellectuals around the world to declare this style as one of the original American art forms.
A variety of jazz styles
In the 1930s, swing big band music for dance, Kansas city jazz and Gypsy jazz were all prominent styles of the time.
Bebop style:
The bebop style that emerged in the 1940s transformed jazz from a danceable style to a challenging performance (music for musicians) that played faster with rhythm and had more chord-based improvisations. Cool jazz also emerged in the late 1940s, with softer, softer sounds and long, melodic lines.
Free Jazz style:
The 1950s were the time of the advent of the Free Jazz genre, which was characterized by regular rhythm playing and a well-defined contractual structure.
Hard bop style:
Also in the 1950s, the hard bop style emerged, which was influenced by R&B, Gospen, and blues, especially saxophone and piano.
Jazz modal style:
Jazz modal music also emerged in the late 1950s, using church fashions and musical steps as a basis for musical structure and improvisation.
Jazz-Rock fusion style:
The music of Jazz-Rock fusion, which originated in the late 1960s and early 1970s, combined jazz improvisation with rock music rhythms, electronic instruments, and the loud sounds of rock music.
Smooth jazz style:
In the early 1980s, a commercial form of jazz fusion called Smooth jazz became successful and gained considerable radio coverage.
Other styles and genres abound in the 2000s, including Latin jazz and Afro-Cuban jazz.
