I had the immense pleasure of seeing a very talented, very skilled Ukrainian classical pianist this week. Alina Kiryayeva played (much better!) several of the songs I play, and I’ve included a partial video here of Sonata Op. 27 No. 2 in C sharp minor, Movement I. Adagio sostenuto, or, Moonlight Sonata.
The handbill for her concert.
I enjoyed her so much I wanted to support her, so bought both of her CDs. You can buy them here and here.
We had great balcony seats!
I particularly enjoyed watching her deft fingers!
