LTAM #121 : Laney LX-35R 10 inch 2 channel Guitar Amplifier

LTAM : “Let’s Talk About Music”

The LX-35R is not just a practice amplifier but can be use as a performance rig that allows to expand to an external speaker from the socket readied. It will automatically bybass the internal 10 inch speaker driver once connected to a larger speaker cabinet.

The Laney LX-35R is a 35 watt power output and has 2 channels (clean & distortion). 3 band equalizers (bass, mid & treble) with built-in reverb.

The Controls

A single input from an instrument with a volume control. Single switch to turn into distortion with Crunch & Master controls over the drive. An extra boost on the equalizer just from the ‘XTS’ switch to shape the tone. 3 band equalizers and a rotary control over the on-board reverb.

Stereo (L&R) RCA inputs for the AUX to jam along. A 1/4 inch footswitch (FS2 model : not included) that controls Reverb and switching channel between Clean & Distortion). Expand LX-35R from practice into performance by connecting an 1/4 inch cable from speaker output to an external speaker cabinet. 1/4 inch headphones output for private practice at home or late at night without disturbing neighborhoods.
