A strong and popular until now in the US group. Formed by two brothers Edward and Alex van Halen (father-a native of Holland, a musician). The brothers had a musical education in piano, independently mastered the guitar and drums. Alex was the guitarist and Eddie the drums. Then they got tired of it and switched tools.
In 1972 they organized group and called its "Mammoth" (mammoth). When they achieved fame, it turned out that group identification is already there. Then in 1974 arose group van Halen. The band became stellar, and in the late 1970s and early 1980s was one of the most successful in rock music. The band released 4 albums that reached the top of the American charts. In 2007, the band was inducted into the rock and roll Hall of fame.
The group has brought increased trebovaniya to the strength of the scene, which was supposed to be. They always mentioned this point in the contract for the performance, but do all read the contracts carefully? Then they came up with a chip – made in the contract clause that in the locker room should be pills M&M's, but without candy brown. If the dressing room was not this jelly beans, or among them there were brown-so their Manager climbed on stage and tested the strength.
Their first album was a resounding success, the second-too. And the third, though became platinum - but none of his songs did not hit the charts. But no matter how their albums sell and regardless of the number of hits – the band is always very well received on stage and their tour was successful.
In 2009, there was a large-scale tour of Van Halen in the United States. Performances took place in crowded halls. During the tour, the band's management had to arrange additional shows as tickets were completely sold out in advance.
So their music doesn't rust, and they look 100%!
