ROCK CALENDAR: 25 February 1943 George Harrison was born

What can you say about this honored musician? A lot of things, but only one – he's one of the Beatles. And that's all. Eternal life he provided. He is the youngest of the Beatles, but the evil disease did not give him a discount. What I like about Harrison? As a guitarist in the first place. It was his solo that made the Beatles ' songs so lyrical and recognizable. He always tried to play simply, without long tedious improvisations, but tasty. And he did it. Before the breakup of the Beatles he had accumulated resentment on Lennon-McCartney for the fact that they are seriously his songs are not perceived, although be sure to put in every album. In fact, as a composer standing next to John and Paul, it took place after "While my guitar gently weeps" - but he couldn't issue hits as fast as his colleagues with vast experience. All of his songs until this is trial, and so mournful chants in Indian style – just agony. His songs from the latest Beatles ' albums amaze with their perfection.
For example, I found a video from the concert, where Harrison sings the same song – "While my guitar gently weeps" and helps him old friend Eric Clapton, who at one time he entrusted to play solo in this song. For those who do not know them in the face – prompt: Clapton – with "Les Paul" and Harrison – with "Stratocaster". Please note – there are other musicians not born yesterday, for example – as much as two drummers – Ringo Starr and Phil Collins. So:

There is a saying for musicians in my country that goes like, the tongue that sings never dies. Good to honour and celebrate him.

Yes, it's true! The tongue that sings never dies...
