ROCK CALENDAR: July 31, 1964 born C. C. Catch, German-Dutch singer, disco music star of the 80's

The singer was born in Holland, then moved to Germany, where she began working in a garment factory and participate in a women's pop group. She heard Dieter Bohlen and offered a contract, it was in 1985. She started recording her songs (or Bolen?) became hits until 1988, she had a fight with Bolen. She went to London and continued his solo career there. But without Bolen's songs it is not Polo and in 1989 fire recorded the last album. Then she just sang her old songs.
It all remained in the 80's, in the world of disco. Then she was a star, now-just a good singer. I found on youtube her relatively recent Duo with Chris Norman-there is some aching sadness in the Duo of idols of days past.
