The song became a huge commercial success, reaching number four on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in March 1971. The single also earned a Grammy for " Best vocal performance by a Duo or band in rhythm and Blues." I listened-very well, especially if you haven't heard John Fogerty sing it before.
