For several decades, it is no secret to anyone how the Afro-descendant culture was treated. The struggle that they had to generate to be respected and recognized equally has taken their time in the world, however, in some generations you can still see the discrimination that may exist.

During this process the natural development of music, generated a transcendence that would take the traditional musical forms to one, starting with the ragtime, blues, this, would be transformed into the genre jazz, what would be a new music market, a new audience that It would lead him to become a great influence from 1917. The jazz genre was very intertwined with the technological advances that were beginning to take place at the time, he began to be involved with the first sound recordings, and it was even through jazz, that the industry Cinematography makes its advance from silent movies, to sound movies. The first sound film that was made was "The Jazz Singer" (1927).

This musical phenomenon developed in North America, has an inflow of Europe, Africa, and has served as an influence on the thought of the whole world, jazz was in part the democratic music that made them known as great influencers of history, it became the manifestation of freedom, respect, artistic achievement, and identity.

The rhythm of this genre is characterized by the swing, this rhythm that came from ragtime. The structure can be said to resemble the rondo form of classical music, along with improvisation is the crucial feature of jazz, its spontaneous creation of new material is the key to its interpretations.

Jazz players such as Charlie Parker, Miles Davis, Jhon Coltrane and Charles Mignus demonstrated through jazz a virtuosity that would transform music.

For this, I share some songs that I chose from jazz players that would influence this transformation of music and its musical composition.

Charlie Parker -All the things you are/koko

Considered one of the best interpreters of the alto saxophone in the history of this genre, nicknamed Bird / Yardbird, was one of the initiators of the bebop to break the swing, based on the improvisation on a melody also modifying the chords to create new structures in the subjects.

Charles Mignus: Moanin'

Miles Davis: Rocket Salt

All blues

One of the favorites is that Davis, who is this year, during this time of the Coltrane realm, we have a transcendence in meditation, the leaves of the world's musical worlds, the style and interpretation of the world, their album Giant Steps

Jhon Coltrane: Olé, My favorite things!

After leaving the band of Davis in 1960, Coltrane begins to play the soprano saxophone, My Favorite Things was his seventh album and in which for the first time he would appear playing this instrument. This album marks the change of Coltrane from bebop to modal jazz, its Indian influence transformed this song into an oriental dance.

Coltrane's work is closely related to the historical events of the time, the struggle for the civil rights of blacks

This genre showed great importance for the instrumentalists of the time, today jazz has a multiplicity of styles that would have been unimaginable many years ago.

In addition, the music of these musical sophisticated musicians adds to the drugs and alcohol, their musical touch, and their joys for alguna, the most important ones in their music and solo, as Miles lets them regret in distant stages the music, the jazz solo, is the only way to use the rock music that has been played by the bop, hardbop, and jazz modal.
