Techno pioneer as last submission
After this one, I will quit this series for a while. I saved this one for last, because this man is not a living legend, he is "The living legend". Jeff Mills was born in Detroit in 1963, but at 54 years of age he still spins records for sometimes 8 hours in a row, in a very energetic and nervous style. 70 tracks in an hour are no exception to him.
He started "The underground restistance" together with Mike Banks and Robert Hood. Later he formed his owned record label, Axis Records, 4 other labels would follow.
His most famous track is "The Bells" from 1997, but his repertoire is incredible, and it keeps on coming.
This man deserves a statue in every club all over the world...
