This is a Jane's Addiction cover I did with the Ragnarockers. We did this at the Tin Whistle Pub in Charlottesville, Virginia last year. The song is about the namesake of Jane's Addiction, (whose name is Jane) who was singer Perry Farrel's roommate and muse. She obviously struggled with a drug addiction, as well as an abusive boyfriend named Sergio, as the lyrics bear out. According to a washington post article about the song, she eventually got clean.
