On GO!, Princess Ugly give their almost sinister take on Tones On Tail's classic track, released as a companion to their new original song, Hunger.
J. Christopher-Rome: "Tones On Tail and Love and Rockets are my two most influential bands. It was fun to put Go! through the Princess Ugly treatment and hear it come out the other side as a unique brooding, moody piece in contrast with the upbeat original. It seemed a perfect companion to the vibe of Hunger."
Christopher Moncrieffe: "I've always been energized to movement by the original Go! The antithetical tempo of our version of Go! makes it a satisfying compliment to our original song, Hunger. I've never been more gratified producing a cover tune. I believe J. and I painted a unique picture over Tones On Tail's substructure."
