Guess not so many bands and orchestras use a triangle in their setup, or? Similar to, a lead singer is generally on the foreground of a band, regardless the band being driven by another member. If it helps you, I'm a music listener, and when I listen to music, I don't see any difference in importance of a band/orchestra members. I give my appreciation to the whole!
