Hi everyone! Today i'm gonna share about one of my favorite projects called Dúo Aqui entre dos made by my personal and close friends Mayra Sousa and Mauricio Marín.
A project where i have the honor of participating as a bass player and they are currently recording their first album.
This was our first presentation at the celebration of the 10 years of the afrovenezuelan group Afrocódigos. A really special moment for us where we knew that this was going to work, the coments and responses of the audiences where amazing considering that we only played original songs
The one on the video is me personal favorite called "Y asi fue que te encontre" composed by Mauricio Marín. Where i turned my favorite part of the song into a musical response between the voice and the bass triying to emulate what Jaco Pastorius did with Joni Mitchell.
The project has groun since that day and sooner or later you are gonna hear about them as well.
