Howdy, music fans! The SELECTOR is back with another pan of exciting, digital-audio gold! Now that I’m a delivery boy again, I have TONS of time to drive around listening to music, and I’m really enjoying that element of this job. (Plus, I only work a few evenings a week, leaving me lots of time to work on art, writing, reading, and other silly things!) SO! What sorts of tunes have I been rockin’ to in my travels? (I know you’re just dying to find out!!!)

First, before I get to the list, I’m happy to say (for the few of you who remember the technical difficulties I experienced with my last playlist) whatever was up with 8tracks when I tried to upload my previous batch of tunes, the tech gurus have gotten it sorted, and this playlist went up smoothly and easily (like the over 100 OTHER playlists I’ve posted on that site. To listen to any of those playlists, just visit my 8tracks' Profile page!) In fact, I was able to RE-upload the 12 songs that were SUPPOSED to be part of my previous list and included them in this bunch of tunes. (So no loss there---just a tiny bit of delay.) In addition to these songs, I’ve conglomerated a wide range of music from a variety of styles and a kaleidoscope of eras to produce this swirling beast of a playlist. As I wrote in the 8tracks’ entry for this list:

“I'm all over the musical map on this one: New Wave, Electro, Old School Punk, Prog-Rock, Post-Punk, Techno, Jazz, Industrial, Reggae, Novelty Tunes, a couple of local Indie bands from my home town, with a slug of pop, alternative, weirdo gems in-between... Big names, no names, songs from the '60s up through 2019! I'm throwing DOWN!!! Just turn on the list, turn off your expectations, and just enjoy the ride!”

101 tracks of interesting music. Ready? Okay, let’s do it…
