the band '' My Bloody Valentine ''.
My Bloody Valentine is a band from the genre '' Shoegazing '' formed in Ireland in 1983 by Kevin Shields (vocals, guitars) and Colm O'Cíosóig (drums). The band didn't have much recognition by the moment in which it was formed, if not until 1988 when they moved to England having this way published their first studio album '' Is not Anything '' after several EP's and a more extensive experimentation regarding their sound, these would be launching their second album, the most popular and influential in the genre to date '' Loveless ''
Loveless was a very risky album because of its peculiar sound, you could not know if this would have the success that was expected or not. An estimated £ 200,000 was spent on the production of this album as Kevin Shields wanted the sound of this album to be perfect within the aesthetics of this, having an approximate of 14 sound engineers working on this album and multiple exhaustive recording sessions . Unfortunately after the project was released in 1991 the label was bankrupt and the band had to separate, which is really sad because by the time very few people understood the sound of loveless and realized how extraordinary it was.
However it should be noted that this album for the date is considered a musical '' jewel '' and possibly the best album of shoegaze that has ever existed, in addition to some of the best albums of the 90's.

My Bloody Valentine es una banda del género ''Shoegazing'' formada en Irlanda en el año 1983 por Kevin Shields (vocales, guitarras) y Colm O'Cíosóig (batería). La banda no tuvo mucho reconocimiento para el momento en que fue formada, si no hasta 1988 en el que se trasladaron a Inglaterra habiendo de esta forma publicado su primer álbum de estudio ''Isn't Anything'' luego de varios EP y una experimentación más amplia en cuanto a su sonido, estos estarían lanzando su segundo disco, el más popular e influyente en el género hasta la fecha ''Loveless''
Loveless fue un disco muy arriesgado ya que por su peculiar sonido, no se podía saber si este tendría el éxito que se esperaba o no. Se gastaron un aproximado de 200.000 libras en la creación de este álbum ya que Kevin Shields quería que el sonido de este fuera perfecto dentro de la estética de este, teniendo un aproximado de 14 ingenieros de sonido trabajando en este disco y múltiples sesiones exhaustivas de grabación. Lamentablemente después de que el proyecto fuera lanzado en 1991 la disquera quedo en quiebra y la banda se tuvo que separar, lo cual es realmente triste porque para la época muy poca gente entendió el sonido de loveless y se dio cuenta de cuan extraordinario era.

Sin embargo cabe destacar que este álbum para la fecha es considerado una ''joya'' musical y posiblemente el mejor disco de shoegaze que ha existido jamás, además de unos de los mejores discos de los 90's.
