The human brain is a fascinating phenomenon of billions of years of evolution. Doctors and scientists have examined, dismantled, and studied it along with other animal brains for centuries now. Discovering its complexity with billions of neurons, creating an unimaginable amount of connections switching on and off faster than we can comprehend. Rewiring itself as it sees fit. Examining it on a microscopic level to the normal every day level in a lab outside of the human body protective slab of meat and bones. The greatest mystery we’ve searched for inside and out is where does our awareness come from. What is consciousness? Does an answer for this exist? Where will it lead? Is consciousness as we think we are aware of it, as we define it, as we think we understand it, more than just a phenomenon unique to the human brain? Is it a lucky, magical thing that arose out of billions of years of unconscious evolution? Can it exist outside of the human mind? In all the wonders of our awareness and of our consciousness we know we are not perceiving all of reality. Why does it always seem like we are missing something, an explanation so deep and profound?
