In continuation of Iconic '70s Songs Pt. I, I present part two of Iconic '70s Songs! If you missed part one, scoot over there now to follow the chronology of this series.

Introduction excerpt:

Although it's imperative to be engaged with the details of the zeitgeist culture so that we are proficient and perceptive, knowing the history also strengthens insight of its historical context and appreciation for its culture.

The complexities of the cultural evolution in the Seventies was indisputable with its hit parade of music that was evocative, entertaining and, for better or worse, unavoidable.

Music in its most simple terms is communication. Like language, if we stop using it, it will disappear and be forgotten. So here is my attempt to keep it alive.

Note: All videos are live performances and listed in chronological order.

Enjoy!

I'm reminded of an episode years and YEARS ago on 21 Jump Street where the characters looked forward to when they'd be old but still rockin' out the Aerosmith ;-)

Fun collection of tunes. Rock on!

Haha. Thanks for having a listen! One of the qualities of timeless music is its imprint in music history. I'm sure another decade from now, another movie will have a reference to Aerosmith. We are very fortunate to be alive in this generation, to be able to listen and discover music from decades ago.
