I have been collecting music my whole life but in the last few years I have been living in Peru drinking a lot of ayahuasca and san pedro (huachuma) and it has definitely had an effect on my musical tastes.

I began collecting Icaros (songs of protection and blessings sung by shamans during ceremony) which sing to my heart but I started to wish there was some kind of mix that incorporated these beautiful songs with some kickass beats and two years ago I found it! 

Thomas Wyse lives in Cusco, Peru and put together a 4 hour track called "Deep Ayahuasca Journey" that never fails to make me bob my head,cry, smile,shout out loud and leave me feeling deeply connected with myself and my surroundings.

 I don't recommend it during an ayahuasca ceremony I recommend a good meastro/meastra and icaros for that but i do recommend it for anybody who is familiar with the plants and wants to feel that connection in a more general setting. I also bring it out when i'm hosting group for San Pedro and I HIGHLY recommend that.
