"Jailhouse Rock" canción escrita por Jerry Leiber y Mike Stoller, pero que llegó a convertirse en un éxito en la voz de Elvis Presley. RCA Records lanzó esta canción como un sencillo en septiembre de 1957, aunque fue lanzada en este año se hizo popular en la década de 1960 al ser usada en el lanzamiento de la película de Presley, también llamada Jailhouse Rock.
La Revista Rolling Stone la colocó en el lugar N°67 de Las 500 mejores canciones de todos los tiempos, siendo también nombrada como una de las 500 canciones del Rock and Roll que conforman el Hall of Fame del Rock and Roll.
Esta canción fue presentada en una película de Elvis que llevaba el mismo nombre. En la misma Elvis interpreta a un convicto acusado erróneamente, que termina convirtiendose en una estrella. La película, es considerada una de las mejores de sus 31 películas, es muy famosa por la escena en la que Elvis interpreta esta canción en un complicado baile que tiene lugar en la prisión.
