This is how it used to be if you wanted to be in a band
Now days we can record and send tracks to some one and create a band that can have musicians from around the world.
This is a call (Foo Fighter pun intended) for musicians world wide that want to be in a collaboration where we will test the limits of you recording skills and musical skills along with my producing skills.
I am looking for:
Song Writer
Drummer
Bass guitarist
Rhythym guitar
Lead Guitar
Vocals / Vocals can be a vocalist/front person or a musician I would love to give the drummer a chance but we all know how that goes..... J/K
I believe we will start with drums so send me a link to you best rock drum beat.
Then we will lay down bass to the drums.
Next rhythm guitar.
Followed by lead guitar.
We will use the best song writers skills.
Vocals will follow once I pick the best song.
Lead guitar will be the last to follow.
Save your tracks the best will be completely supported by me! I will pick the top 3 musician in each category.
you will have to sign a confidentiality agreement. This is a serious project!
So I will pick the best drum beats to send to bassists.
These two things will start the song with the best getting the drum track.
Once we have the drum track and bass track.
I will send it to the rhythm guitarists.
These three tracks along with the best song writer will be sent to the vocalist or singing instrument player.
Once we have these 4 parts I will send a mixed version to selected musicians from this part and it may be necessary to collaborate at this time to polish the 4 parts that will be a song.
Finally we will overlay lead guitar.
Which will at that time be sent to all parties and all collaboration will go through me.
I have thought of a project like this ever since watching Foo Fighters back and forth where when Pat Smears guitar was needed the band sent their track to Pat who sent his recording back and it fit perfectly!
Requirements:
Heavy rhythm section *Drums and Bass
Drop G rhythm guitar with or without pedals (use your favorite pedal distortion is a good thing).
Lead guitarist's give me your best shot I want you to make it look like it is very easy for you were not at a show yet.
Song writers send me your best work.
Vocals send me your voice feel free to cover something. I can hear what your offering.

I sincerely think that talented musicians will understand what I am talking about.
Somewhere along the line it will be necessary to skype or email each other for input on what we should do.
Now a little bit about me, I have a studio and all equipment necessary to complete a song. I have done promotion for local bands successfully and believe this would be way cooler than american idol or any kind of music show. I will select the top 3 musicians in their field of expertise and contact you. At which point the collaboration will get very serious. So I am only looking for dedicated musicians that want to be a part of this cultural experience language should not be a barrier as we can alway use translate, however the song will be english.
So please any serious musician will know what I am trying to do here. I have seen so many very talented musicians on youtube and seriously believe that I can take your work and get it in the right hands to make this world wide band search a reality. At which time I will use my connections to get us some money to fly us all together some place nice! At which time the work will begin for the best of the best recording our virtual song as the real world does in a studio.
Please only submit original work anything that is a cover and not your original work will be no good and I will research all submissions for originality.
