Some, muster on the forged path. They find purpose wherever they can yet never truly obtain that sense of completeness we all yearn for.
No, for that we need to forge our own path. We need to take out the machete and get our hands dirty. Take risks and dare to dream big. But most importantly, get off our asses and actually do something that we truly desire.
There are so many times we negotiate with ourselves about doing what we ‘really want’ and ‘what is safe’. Sadly, the vast majority of us choose safety over purpose and continue to truck on through a life half lived.
It’s natural to react this way. We all need to live and chasing after the vapor of desired reality won’t put food on the table. This is especially true for those who long to be creative through arts or music or any other ‘non-essential’ skill within the realm of ‘productive society’.
