Sitti, Philippine’s Bossa Nova Queen had just grace our afternoon at Robinsons Place Manila to promote her new album. She sang popular songs like Para Sa Akin (For Me) and her own bossa nova cover of Sunday Morning. Her sultry voice and sexy moves made the crowd go wild. And seriously, the boys were drooling.
Sitti singing Sunday Morning. Video courtesy of MCA Universal. My memory card was corrupted and nobody was uploading her Para sa Akin video yet. So this will do for now.But just the same, her soothing voice is perfect for a chill day. And they even told me that we look a bit alike. No bashers, pleaseeee!
She also sang her new single for her upcoming album. Bossa girl no more? She’s now into electronic pop. But she’s still pure talent and we were dancing to her music. Perfect for clubbing.
Since my memory card was corrupted and nobody uploaded her video yet, here's her live performance of Bid Y ou Love from another program. You can listen to her songs here: https://sitti.lnk.to/BidYouLoveRemix#NewMusicFriday
But the highlight of the day was her collaboration with Shane Filan of Westlife, a popular 90’s Irish boyband in the Philippine. She said she couldn’t believe it when she received a text that she will have a collaboration with her idol. She’s a self-confessed Westlife fan when she was in high school. Ohhh! We can relate very much, darling.
Later on, she returned on stage to sing and sang Lady Antebellum's song with Shane Filan. IMAGINE THAT!!! She was just a fangirl before and now, she got the chance to collaborate with her idol.
Your hair is sooooo long, girl. I might stop on it.
Can you feel the kiliggggg???

And I hope Sitti will share Shane's hug to us poor fangirls and fanboys who can only dream of what she had achieved.
